My name is Jessica and I am a designer and illustrator based in Edmonton, Alberta. During my undergrad, I kickstarted my design career leaping into the world of student journalism, designing magazines for The Gateway, the University’s Journalism Society.

Currently, I am a designer at Sticks & Stones where I design for both print and web. Before the merger of Kobot Industries and Sticks in April 2022, I designed accessible and user focused websites at Kobot. I will always have a place in my heart for print design though, and I’ve continued this passion as an independent designer through projects ranging from exhibition catalogues to editorial illustration.

As a designer, I have an adaptable approach that allows me to work on a variety of print design, branding and illustration projects. I am dedicated to fine tuning the tiniest of details, asking a lot of questions throughout the process and checking in often, so that my decisions are always grounded by practicality and understanding.

When I am not designing, you can find me writing silly anecdotes, attempting to learn a new craft, or on a walk with family and my sweet pup, Duney.
